Paris Olympics 2024

Iron your flags and get ready for some late nights – we’re gearing up for another Olympics! And things feel different this time round now that covid seems to be fading in our rear-view mirrors.

In a city no less iconic than Paris, we’re gearing up for a media whirlwind. Earlier this year Nine released their sponsors which included huge Australian brands like Woolworths, Harvey Norman, and NRMA Insurance

QMS have also been announced as the official outdoor media partner across the 2024 summer and 2026 winter Olympics. Despite the usual concern around the impact of time zones on  viewership and attention  QMS’ very own Adrian Vendetti has reassured media buyers saying -  given the time difference in Paris, peak time finals and major results will be breaking on our screens every morning: 11.00 pm in Paris is 7.00 am in Sydney, so as our roads are at their busiest, all eyes will be on the Olympic content on our screens”.

This will also be the second Olympics since 1952 that the ABC has not provided any live coverage or commentary of the games. Instead, borne out of Nine’s exclusive $305m deal, prideful Aussies will have to tune into Nine’s 2GB, 3AW, 4BC and 6PR radio stations.

Here at Kaimera, Network Nine has not been shy to send over their Free-to-air and BVOD packages. While costs around these packages are naturally quite high – so is our enthusiasm. Now more than ever, there are few moments reserved in the media world where everyone stops and has their eyes on the same content. We are excited to get in and amongst it with our clients.
