In an age dominated by streaming platforms and on-demand content, cinema seemed to be fading into the background. Although, 2023 has brought a surprising twist – the triumphant return of cinema! That’s right, the big screen experience is making a comeback, rekindling the magic and allure of the silver screen.

The dreaded Covid pandemic drastically altered the way in which media was consumed. With many movie theatres temporarily closing, releasing blockbusters directly to streaming services became the new norm. Long after society was back in action, it appeared as though traditional cinema had lost its grip and was unable to catch up. Despite this, some new releases are offering hybrid strategies, with films both premiering in theaters and streaming platforms simultaneously, providing viewers with greater options. Although, the social element of cinema is one streaming services cannot rival

So, what does this mean for media? In an environment that captures the attention of many movie goers sitting in anticipation for the latest summer hit, cinema advertising could be the way to go for your next big campaign.
