Network Ten Upfronts

Network Ten kicked off its action-packed upfronts last week, with its elaborate stage performance, focusing on their tagline  ‘See tomorrow with a Mountain of Entertainment’.

Paramount/Ten reiterated their commitment to creating a more dynamic, interactive, measurable TV. The network have been working with Kerv, Samba TV, and INNOVID to simplify data and reporting for their clients and agency partners. We could also see the launch of the new streaming service Pluto TV, targeting the hard-to-find audience, and a Twitter partnership currently available to push into the e-commerce space.

The network presented a 2023 content lineup that will embrace new shows and fan favourites, such as The Hunted (returning for its second season after a very successful first season), I’m Celebrity… Get Me Out Here, Have you Been Paying Attention, MasterChef, Survivor, Would I lie to you and Goggle Box.

For H1 (Jan-Aug), traditionally, Ten kicks off the year with I’m Celebrity… Get Me Out Here; however, Ten is turning the dial up and starting the year with not one, but three Bachelors! With the new Gold Coast location, the Bachelors will steam up our screens on the 2nd Of January. I’m Celebrity… Get Me Out Here is back in Africa, and is coming back just in time for Easter. MasterChef, the popular favourite, fourteen years running, returns for its 15th season. And returning in the Winter months, with a shorter and more compact season and, as quoted, ‘full of surprises’, the UK favourite/global smash TV Show,  Taskmasters, is coming to Australia, so get ready!

In H2 (Sep-Aug), the second season of The Hunted and more of The Real Love Boat sailing into a shore near you. Other new programs hitting our screens in 2023 include Location, Location, Location, Dessert Masters, Dogs Behaving (Very Badly) and Paper Dolls.

You can also catch a ‘Mountain of Sport’ on 10 Main, from the Australian MotoGP and the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix to the Melbourne Cup Carnival. On top of all this, 10 Bold will continue to be the home Isuzu UTE A-League matches across the season, along with NBL games on 10 Peach. We are excited to see what the next year brings for the network!
