Last week (a little overdue), Kaimera entered what we hope to be our forever home. It’s been a remarkable year, and our new office only indicates what is yet to come.
I walked into the doors over a year after enduring a time of turbulence with the state of the world facing COVID, lockdowns, the industry going through unfortunate layoffs, and did I mention COVID? Nervous to even consider applying for a new job, didn’t think I had a chance. Walked into the interview and instantly was met with my TV soul mate; I never thought I would meet anyone who loved TV the way I did, and I knew from then on that it was meant to be.
Government lockdowns and COVID didn’t hold us down; The agency continued to shine, going on to be nominated as Adnews Media Agency of the Year. However, behind every great agency, there are more incredible people and these beautiful people I work with daily.
Some of our shining stars this year are making their mark in the industry, such as Sarah Mushan. She had the privilege of attending this year’s Yahoo Academy, which finished off a two-day event with an enthusiastic pitch-off. She and her team successfully will be heading to Advertising Week in New York!
Earlier this year, our ever-smiley Olivia Scott was selected as one of the ambassadors for UnLtd. Olivia is one of 18 ambassadors selected in 2022 across the industry. The 18 successful ambassadors will use their skills and networks for good to help UnLtd’s charity partners.
Wow! So much happened in one year, what I can say. As my journey continues, I am excited to see what else is coming my way. Just no more lockdowns, please 😞.
