The Committee for Melbourne in partnership with many Melbourne based brands including, ANZ, Village Cinemas, Coles and the AFL have come together to create an initiative to kick start the Melbourne economy and reinvigorate the city. ‘Let’s Melbourne again’ is a commitment by over 22 different established brands to create a programme of activities that help Melbournians feel comfortable and enjoy their city as lockdown restrictions continue to ease.
The initiative is spearheaded by a film that utilises many Melbourne-based film makers and photographers, all shown emerging from lockdown and beginning to return to a new sense of normality.
‘Let’s Melbourne again’ collateral will also be available to small businesses who want to get involved and be part of the movement to reinvigorate the city.
This initiative is a great example of how brands should be acting during the Covid- 19 Pandemic. Coming together, to not only offer empathy and support, but create activities and provide collateral that will tangibly help Australians navigate the new Covid normal.
